Triple C's! Chocolate Chip Cookies

Updated: Apr 2

Triple C's have been a go-to family favourite for decades. I really have trouble making these and not sampling! They are so delicious, warm out of the oven with a glass of cold milk! Easy to make, difficult to resist.

Pre-heat oven to 350 F

Line a baking seet with parchment paper

Ingredients:

1/2 lb. Unsalted butter, at room temperature

1 Cup Brown sugar

3/4 Cup Sugar

2 Eggs, at room temperature

1 1/2 Teaspoons Vanilla

2 Cups Unbleached flour

1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

1 Teaspoon Sea salt

1 1/2 Cups good quality chocolate chips, I love Callebaut if you can find them!

Method:

Mix together the butter and sugars until fluffy

Add the eggs one at a time and vanilla

Beat until well combined

Mix flour, baking soda and salt together in a bowl

Then fold this gently into the wet mixture until combined

Add the chocolate chips

Refrigerate for 15 minutes

On a lined baking sheet, drop the cookies by the generous tablespoon, spacing them 2 inches apart.

Bake for about 8-10 minutes or until golden.

Let cool. Or, just eat them warm!
